The Stock Exchange of Thailand main index strongly rebounded by 2.48%, or 34.99 points, to 1,446.84 on Tuesday. Total trading value was 58.28 billion baht, with 12.16 billion shares changed hands. Foreigners bought a net 4.16 billion baht, followed by institutional investors (518.87 million). Year-to-date, foreigners were the largest net buyers (126.46 billion baht), followed by brokers (13.18 billion). Local individuals were the biggest sellers, at 94.78 billion baht, followed by institutional investors (44.86 billion).
